Set up a schedule with a personal trainer today. Tomorrow I start logging everything into MyFitnessPal and being honest with myself about what it takes to get to an ideal weight. Target is to lose 30 pounds by December 19, the day we leave for a Disney cruise.

Logging calories was the best thing to help me lose weight and stay under daily intake goal. It’s surprising how many calories are in foods I didn’t realize.

I was doing low carb but frankly I'm tired of sacrificing the foods I enjoy but that would be considered "unhealthy" in the diet (e.g. Greek yogurt with granola, sweet potatoes, wheat pasta). Calories In makes sense to me at a basic level.
