PAC Designs was the one i was looking for. Unfortunately they're present in Fb-only and make only limited/custom runs. Well... one can not always win, not everytime even.
Surfed teh inttewwwebz extensively and actively ignored CN mass produced messenger bags, came by a Budapest, HU(!) based www.bagaboo-bags.com/. Bags of all sizes and quite extensive add-ons one can pick for a personal bag. Downside is a bit of long(ish?) 3 weeks timeframe for delivery.

Ordered all-black (incl. the inner bag is black but that's how she wanted it) for my daughter as a school bag and a burgundy(-ish) red bag with pale grey inner bag and yellow/golden trims for myself.
