My toddler tore the ear tip off my Airpod, I was a bit frustrated but oh well it came with replacements... Turns out I had the wrong size on and now I can hear bass in music 🤯 I've been using them wrong for almost 3 years 🙃

Just flipped through to this by coincidence, and i do have a same problem with bass: somewhat non-existant on Airpods. Sound is quite excellent but me miss muh bass ;D

Have you tried one of the other tip sizes? It was a dramatic difference in bass when I switched! 🎧

I did and it's amazing! Got the noise isolation to a next level and - tada - let there be bass :))) Turns out my earways are L 8D)
