Job offer docusigned. I rejoin the land of the employed Apr 19, after around 13 1/2 months of sabbatical.

I'm at the final two interviews for a job that I want. Should know more by next week. Even if I don't get an offer, it will still be one of the best interview experiences I've had, by a wide margin. Feels good to be treated like a person.

I had a fair bit of AWS experience under my belt, some from personal projects but mostly from Jaunt VR days, so I took and passed the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate exam this week.

Interviewing. Talked to 2 companies adopting "hybrid" work policies, where employees come to the office 2-3 days a week and work 2-3 days at home. An effective way to shrink that national "work-from-anywhere" talent pool you were just pulling from to just those cities you have an office in.
