While the idea would be cool, I think it would put a lot of burden on you to deal with that stuff. I mean I’ve been on twitter since 2007 with thousands of tweets. Now multiply that by everyone else. Lots of database growth plus storage of images. Low importance IMO

Nice! My previous job we had a three server ESX VMware cluster with a netapp array with around 100 terabytes. The thing that was nice about it was the SSD drives that were part of the array. It would move the most used pieces and store them there for faster access
