Interested, too, FIN translation is 'english townhouse' ie. articles about construction principles etc. refer to them '...houses in the area are built in style of english-type townhouse..'

This is interesting! Yes, I guess they could be called townhouses; here in the UK, a townhouse is tall - several more floors than the homes in this pic - and narrow.

Hello! This is a row of terraced houses, so there’s no gap between them. There are shared walls. I think they might have been built in the Edwardian era? But don’t quote me on that

Funny how definitions vary from country/nation to another. We've got a high-rise in Helsinki that is called 'terassitalo' (ie. terrace house/building) and it's nothing like terraced houses in UK for sure 8D)
