Blah! No way!? I was looking at setting up my wife with an iPad Air and Apple Pencil combo for her lab work. Not stoked though to hear if the pencil breaks you have to buy a whole new one.
Yeah 🤯 thankfully hers was still under warranty. Also you can't let them sit without being charged for more than a week or so. Apparently it damages the battery and causes it to fail or fail early.
This was an 1st gen, not for sure if anything is fixed in the 2nd gen.
