People don't choose to be their gender, they just ARE their gender. When someone transitions or reject gender altogether, other people say "StOp PrEtEnDiNg, bE tRuE tO yOuRsElF", they dont see the irony that saying this meant pushing these people back in the closet and stopping them from being true
