What features are missing?
I think this is the ideal replacement for twitter. It's similar to how the twitter I used to love used to be. It just doesn't have the traction yet. I keep telling people about it but I don't see anyone I know or celebrities I follow giving it the chance it deserves. I have instagram but not threads

Agreed, i think switching between short and long form posting is something that many long for. I guess there's no need for blog post like publishing but i've found threading (in TW) a detailed thinking a bit cumbersome.
