I just signed up and I LOVE the super clean UI! Just beautiful! I'm missing your stance on the privacy topic, because I think it is the one topic/feature that drives people away from other networks. What's your business model? I hope it's not ads/tracking like nearly all others.

On privacy: no trackers on Glue and we won’t sell your data. If you use uBlock or similar you should see zero things blocked on Glue since we don’t have anything embedded

...On revenue: I’ve got some ideas on a “pro” account which would add some features around analytics on your Drops etc
Ads aren’t ruled out but nothing planned on that as of now. If we did do ads they would be contextual and not tracking based and nothing that invades privacy

Thanks for your answers! I appreciate your take on this topic and I think it would be great to have these points clearly on your frontpage. If people switch to a new social media platform privacy and data protection are highly important or even reasons to sign up or not.

- No trackers (working to keep our uBlock block count to zero as it is now)
- We won't sell your data
- I'd like to not do ads, if we had to they'd be contextual, and privacy respecting, not tracking based

Working on a paid acct which would give extra features (stats on your Drops, more blog features, custom domain, etc)
I want to make sure Glue always has a free option to ensure everyone can use it, regardless of their economic position
