In FIN we have this thing called mörönperse, it's the 3 month season between Nov & Jan. Translates roughly as spook's ass, as we feel like we're living up in the ass of an humongous entity. Spook (ie. The Groke) is also a character in Moomins ❤️

Quite unbelievable... this morning? I'm further up in the Northern hemisphere and at 06 am there's already some glimpses of light :D)

Another great shot 🇬🇧 Do you recommend going up in the Eye even if one doesn’t like heights? 🫠

YES! Highly recommend. It is a slow revolution, quite gentle and the views on a clear day are spectacular. The operators probably have advice on hand to assist.

Interested, too, FIN translation is 'english townhouse' ie. articles about construction principles etc. refer to them '...houses in the area are built in style of english-type townhouse..'

This is interesting! Yes, I guess they could be called townhouses; here in the UK, a townhouse is tall - several more floors than the homes in this pic - and narrow.

What style do you call those homes? We stayed in one like that last year near Putney Bridge, we enjoyed it

Hello! This is a row of terraced houses, so there’s no gap between them. There are shared walls. I think they might have been built in the Edwardian era? But don’t quote me on that
