Everyone that spends time in Charleston seems to post one of these. I'm not a fan. This bridge design is used by other cities and it reflects the expense we will layout for commerce. It's an idol to cars that cross over it and cars in ships that go under it. We will do anything for cars.

The Ravenel bridge has definitely contributed to and accelerated the boom in Mt Pleasant's population the past decade. It's a heck of a lot better than the two bridges it replaced though.

Moving can be such a pain. Are you guys staying the CHS area, or heading elsewhere?

Very cool. Been here 21 years now and still have yet to visit Ft Moultrie. I've been in the vicinity a few times, but never had a chance to stop in

Wow impressive! It must be a robust chip to have survived a parts bin too πŸ˜€

If I'm interpreting the date code correctly for the four Z80s I have, they're from 1987-88. I was pleasantly surprised to see they all worked. Not bad for nearly 40 year old chips stored in a #CHS garage for who knows how long before I got them.

That’s rad! πŸ”₯ what are you hoping to do with it?

At this point, just see if it works and can blink some address bus lights. It's part of a collection of old ICs that came in a few parts bins I acquired a few years ago, so no idea if the Z80 even works.
