That is a super clear mic, no distortion at all. Do you have any sort of pop filter or windscreen in front of it?

At the advice of others I upgraded the windscreen that comes with the mic to a replacement for the SM7B here amzn.to/3ty3gVe The windscreen is a bit taller so it gives you more space between the mic and your mouth which I guess helps with plosives.

Sorry for the late response, just got back into town! Thanks for sharing 👍 I have a Shure shotgun mic that's been in storage I need to get out and mess around with.
