Found a bunch of these Microsystems International MF1103R 1kbit (128 byte) DRAM chips (a version of the Intel 1103 chip) in a parts bin. The date code marks these as 1974 vintage. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to test them to see if any of them still work.
1kbit! Imagine if the makers of these chips could see then that a text editor (electron apps!) can take up GBs of ram now 😁
