Quotes from the movie "Jobs"
You’ve gotta have a problem you want to solve, a wrong that you wanna right and it’s gotta be something you're passionate about otherwise you won’t have the perseverance to get you through
We can’t look at the competition and say we’re gonna do it better, we have to look at the competition and say we’re gonna do it different

My family is staying in Orlando for now, but will still be visiting Charleston often.
Game changing tech when Apple launched that, I started on the 3G model
Our pup swam in that fountain once 🤦♂️
This code pulls Drops for our main datastore into our cache service (Redis) which timelines are served from
'Status' tells it not to pull any Drops which have been deleted, but not yet purged by our background purge queue
Timelines are 'seeded' with up to 250 Drops sorted by ID aka time
drops = Drop.where('user_id IN (?)', followers)
.where('status = 0 or status = 3')
.order('id DESC')
.limit(250)
.pluck(:id)
Another bug fix 🤦♂️ Timeline activity processing was down due to an error on the queue processing system.
The queue has been restarted and any Drops that were missed have now been processed and added to activity timelines.
Looks very interesting! @maximilien posted a photo of this not too long ago too.
I have a fond memory of walking by the Arch with my wife in 2019 when visited. We'd just come from the Eiffel tower which had a storm ⚡️ brewing behind it and it was beautiful!
Looking forward to going back
Heading back to Florida tomorrow, but will be back to Charleston often. Glad I got to enjoy the downtown life.
