That would be gr8 but without an app it will be really difficult for people to start switching.

Apps are coming, I worked to make the mobile version of @Glue as "iOS'y" as possible to tide things over while we launch the full native one, but yes they are coming 😀

Personally, it's not a priority. Twitter is more fleeting thoughts for me. It's not a timeline of family events & childrens photos like Facebook. So I would never bother to upload my Twitter stream even if I could. I may be in the minority but I'd rather just start over better.

Good to know! I’m with you on starting fresh with my timeline. I *think* I will build out a way to upload your twitter archive for those who wish to carry over, but still researching feasibility

While the idea would be cool, I think it would put a lot of burden on you to deal with that stuff. I mean I’ve been on twitter since 2007 with thousands of tweets. Now multiply that by everyone else. Lots of database growth plus storage of images. Low importance IMO

Yeah that is true, especially on the media storage Side note: looking at these for the storage cluster www.gigabyte.com/Enterprise/Ra... 480 Terabytes raw storage per server using 20TB drives 😍
