Both Google and Facebook do business with so many companies that they make it more difficult to break free from not only those two websites, but websites that they are connected to. All companies need to make a decision, do they stay with Facebook and Google or do they leave for other social netwrks

I think it's great new social networks want to offer better privacy and security while not tracking it's user's, however, social networks Facebook, Twitter and Instagram make it very difficult for its' users to leave their platforms due to one issue, and that is they are still popular with companies
