What stack did you write it with?
Node.js, MongoDb & Vue.JS.
Great job! Is he a raptor dinosaur?
Yeah he is π
Glue works fine in mobile for me. It could be just a matter of enabling the manifest and service worker.
For authentication, which is preferred: oAuth or token based similar to Slack's API?
One of the 2 should work for me.
There is one planned, but not yet available. Is posting a Drop the main function youβre needing from the API? I can prioritize that one if so
Yes, you are right.. Creating new drop will be the primary use case for now.
Wow, congrats Noah!
Great suggestion, that is something I have on my ToDo. In your use-case, would a browser notification type suffice or are you looking for out-of-band notifications like email etc?
Browser notifications make sense to me. Also, a notifications section on the app is not a bad idea too.
One feature I would like to see is notifications when someone replied or mentioned me in a Drop.
Not sure if this is the right place. Found a UI bug, when uploading portrait images, I couldn't scroll to click the "Drop" button. I had the zoom in on the web page to find the button.
What's the social media you don't wanna see anymore in 2022 ?
I wish I could uninstall WhatsApp from my phone. But I had to use it to be connected to my family & friends.
I tried too hard to make them switch to Signal, but I couldn't π’
What's the social media you don't wanna see anymore in 2022 ?
Facebook for sure.

Almost 2 months since your last post π³
Yeah, got busy π€·ββοΈ
Hey. I sketched a similar concept and I can show the figma files if you are curious. Would love to bounce ideas if you are open ππ
Hello Andrei, I would love to.
Sweet! π is it web based or are you working on a mobile app iOS or Android?
It's a web app for now. It will be a progressive app for starters.
Love the clean design π what are you working on?
Thank you :) It's a proximity-based social app, where your feed is based on posts by people within a certain radius.
Testing out some new network settings for Glue. Do you see any difference in load time by chance?
Yes, I see the delay has decreased considerably now. Great work there π
Adding slight feedback for a click will be great too. Like the button scaling down in size on click or something similar.
Thank you for letting me know! I want to find the root of that issue too.
Are you on mobile or desktop browser? Also what general location are you browsing from? I want to test some latency issues.
I appreciate the feedback!
I am using it in the desktop browser so far. Never tested in mobile yet. I am in India.
