I can also see the case where it’s helpful to have content suggested or “algorithms” doing some help, but as an accessory and not driving the main timeline feed I’m curious to know what is a good balance for each
I can't give you a definite answer as to what's a good balance because I think it depends on preference and activity levels. I'm the type who selected carefully who I followed on twitter. There are some people who click follow to anyone (not, semi and fully) famous that interacts with them, I find.
Great post 👍 and yes to confirm @Glue does not use an algorithm for the "Activity" feed. It's purely time based and only those you follow. Now, we may have an algorithm option in the future, but you'll be able to choose which to use
Quotes from the movie "Jobs"
You’ve gotta have a problem you want to solve, a wrong that you wanna right and it’s gotta be something you're passionate about otherwise you won’t have the perseverance to get you through We can’t look at the competition and say we’re gonna do it better, we have to look at the competition and say we’re gonna do it different

Twitter has a good ad setup, in my opinion, in that ads don't interfere with the overall aesthetic of the feed and you have the "I don't like this ad" option for ones you really don't want to see again. So something similar to that model could be good here.
Happy new year Glue! Yeah, a bit late, I know. The plan for this year is to properly relearn the guitar, document the process in a series of videos and upload them to youtube as I go along. If others want to learn along with me from the videos it might be the incentive I need to keep going.
I was tempted to get one when they first came out but I was saving for something else at the time. I started my smartphone journey with android a few years later so never did go to iphone.
Ah yes those should probably be clickable I think they are just showing the counts now Thanks for the heads up!
I've noticed photos can't be added to those. Or at least I didn't see the option when I tried.
Good question! I touched on revenue/privacy on this blog drop: glue.im/glue/glue-a-social-net... Also, we run our own server hardware and I've been building our own infrastructure for over a year now to run Glue (and other apps) cost-efficient.
Hey dude! How are you? I hope so! I would just like to be able to customize the profile more and if possible a button to edit the post, for example, within 1 minutes after posting and after it is no longer possible to edit, I find it interesting
